Lamborghini Diablo Price

Last updated: July 2026 · Prices shown in USD · Indicative, off-market

A Lamborghini Diablo costs $250K to $650K in 2026 depending on version, against original MSRPs of about $211K to $275K, while an SE30 or a Diablo GT can exceed $1.2M. About 2,903 were built from 1990 to 2001 across rear-drive, all-wheel-drive VT, Roadster, lightweight SV, the homologation GT and true competition cars, and the version decides value far more than mileage.

How much does a Lamborghini Diablo cost by version?

The Diablo spans a wide range. The original 5.7 and the all-wheel-drive VT sit lowest, at $250K to $500K. The lightweight SV and the final VT 6.0 fall in the $400K to $650K band. The rarer cars run far higher: the 30th-anniversary SE30 at $650K to $1.1M and the carbon-bodied Diablo GT at $1.2M to $1.6M.

Several low-volume variants sit between these poles and are best read against their donor version: the VT Roadster, the 20-car SV Monterey Edition, the two SV Roadsters, the 12-car Alpine Edition, the 30-car VT Roadster Millennium, and the final VT 6.0 SE. Because registries count prototypes and special chassis differently, the per-variant numbers should not be added up to reach the 2,903 total.

Competition Diablos and what is not a factory edition

The Diablo also spawned track cars that should not be mixed with the road versions: the SV-R for the Lamborghini Supertrophy, the 40-car GTR, and the GT1 programmes. All were not road-homologated when built, though some GTRs were later registered depending on the country and the conversion. Separately, many names attached to Diablos are not factory editions at all: independent conversions and aftermarket recreations are not official cars, and the Jota name in particular is heavily reused, so a car should be judged on documentation rather than badging.

Price FAQ

Lamborghini Diablo price in 2026: value by version, original MSRP, production and where to buy.

It is generally worth $250K to $650K depending on version, mileage and originality. Early rear-drive cars sit lowest, while clean SV, Roadster and VT 6.0 examples exceed $500K. Rare versions such as the SE30 and Diablo GT can pass $1M.

The original Diablo cost about $211,000 to $240,000 in the United States in the early 1990s. The SE30 was $255,000, the SV about $248,700, and the later VT 6.0 launched near $274,900 before options.

The Diablo GT and an exceptional SE30 lead the road cars. A Diablo GT sold for about $1,435,000 in 2025, and a standard SE30 in outstanding condition reached about $1,627,500 in early 2026.

About 2,903 across all versions from 1990 to 2001. Per-variant figures are less firm than the total and should not be added together, since registries count prototypes and special chassis differently.

Diablos trade through specialists and collector-car auction houses, and rare GT, SV-R and VT 6.0 SE cars often move privately. Verify the VIN, matching-numbers engine, factory specification and the authenticity of any Jota or competition conversion before discussing price.
