Last updated: July 2026 · Prices shown in USD · Indicative, off-market

A Koenigsegg Regera costs $2.8M to $3.4M in 2026 for a typical car, against a 2015 launch price of about €1.89M. Only 80 were built, and recent verified auction results sit around $2.65M, below the $2.7M to $3.6M that dealers ask, so asking prices and completed sales should not be confused.

Verified sales versus asking prices

The Regera has the firmest data of any modern Koenigsegg, because two recent public sales anchor it: €2,423,750 at RM Sotheby's in Paris in January 2024, and $2,645,000 at Bonhams' Quail Auction in August 2025. Those put the executable market around $2.65M, while dealer asking prices run $2.7M to $3.6M and the best low-mileage or Ghost Package cars are advertised near $3.6M. The honest typical range is $2.8M to $3.4M, which does not confuse optimistic advertisements with what buyers actually pay.

Four Regeras offered between 2021 and 2024 went unsold against estimates of $2.6M to $3.5M, a useful reminder that an auction estimate is not the price a buyer will pay. The Regera's engineering identity is Koenigsegg Direct Drive, which replaces a conventional gearbox with a single-ratio direct transmission. The Ghost Package, exposed carbon and named one-off configurations are options and bespoke builds, not separate editions with their own production runs, and no fixed premium for them can be calculated from public sales. The original price was about €1.89M at the 2015 launch, or $2,213,000 for later US cars before options; a heavily optioned US car was invoiced above $3.2M.
