Lamborghini Centenario Price

Last updated: July 2026 · Prices shown in USD · Indicative, off-market

A Lamborghini Centenario Coupe costs $2.1M to $3.0M in 2026 and a Roadster $2.2M to $3.3M, against an original MSRP of €1.75M to €2M, well below the $4M to $6M sometimes advertised. Only 40 were built for the marque's 2016 centenary, 20 of each body, and the gap between what these cars are asked and what they actually sell for is the defining feature of the market.

Sold, asked or estimated: the difference that decides the price

The Centenario is the clearest case in the Lamborghini market of asking prices running far ahead of sales. A Roadster changed hands at about $2,030,000 at auction in late 2024, while other Roadsters have been advertised above $5M. That is close to a threefold gap on the same model. The honest 2026 range is built from completed public sales and realistic private transactions, not from the highest advertisement: $2.1M to $3.0M for the Coupe, $2.2M to $3.3M for the Roadster.

Two bodies, two different cars

The Coupe and the Roadster are priced separately for a reason: they had different original prices and they trade in different bands. The Coupe launched in March 2016 at Geneva at a reported price before taxes, and the Roadster followed at Monterey later that year at a higher figure. Every allocation was sold before the Coupe made its public debut. The technical differences between the two, a small weight gap and a fraction of a second to 100 km/h, carry no value on their own; what separates them in the market is the original price and the completed-sale evidence for each body.

A caution on the headline US number: the roughly $1.9M often quoted for the Coupe is a 2016 conversion of the before-tax price, not a US invoice, and real delivered prices varied with date, local taxes and personalisation. The car is built on a carbon monocoque with rear-wheel steering and a naturally aspirated 6.5 litre V12.

Price FAQ

Lamborghini Centenario price in 2026: Coupe and Roadster value, original price, production and where to buy.

A Coupe has an indicative transaction value of $2.1M to $3.0M and a Roadster $2.2M to $3.3M. Asking prices can be much higher, occasionally above $5M, but those advertisements are not completed sales.

The Coupe launched in 2016 at €1,750,000 before taxes, roughly $1.9M at the contemporary exchange rate. The Roadster arrived later that year at about €2,000,000 before taxes, or approximately $2.27M at launch.

Lamborghini built exactly 40, comprising 20 Coupes and 20 Roadsters. All 40 were allocated to selected clients before the Coupe made its public debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

An auction result records an actual public transaction, normally including the buyer's premium. An asking price is only the amount a seller requests. A Roadster sold for $2,030,000 in 2024, while other Roadsters have since been advertised above $5M, which shows why advertisements alone cannot set a car's value.

The Roadster generally sits a little higher, reflecting its higher original price, but condition, mileage, colour and provenance matter more than body style for any individual car.
