2021 Koenigsegg Regera for sale

It’s not every day that an example of the Koenigsegg Regera is offered for sale — especially with only 420 miles on the odometer. This 2021 model is dressed in an intense red exterior shade perfectly matched to its equally red interior. Presented by the Pagani Beverly Hills dealer, this Regera is currently located in the United States.

The price is communicated only upon request. As an indication, equivalent examples are currently trading between 2.5 and 3 million euros (that is approximately $2.7M to $3.2M USD, £2.1M to £2.7M GBP, ₹225Cr to ₹260Cr INR, R$13.5M to R$16M BRL) depending on the configuration and mileage.

Produced in only 80 units worldwide, the Koenigsegg Regera combines extreme rarity and unmatched power – a work of engineering that continues to gain value in the hypercars market.

History of thethe Koenigsegg Regera

The Koenigsegg Regera, whose name means “to reign” in Swedish, embodies the ambition of an independent manufacturer to push the boundaries of modern automotive. First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, the Regera was developed in parallel with the Agera RS models, then Jesko. The clear objective set by Christian von Koenigsegg was to offer a radical alternative to the traditional gearbox by introducing the Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD) system, thus eliminating the need for gear shifting while ensuring a constant power flow.

Every component of the Regera is designed, manufactured, and assembled within the brand’s facilities in Sweden, in Ängelholm, offering a level of mastery rarely achieved in the industry.

Between 2016 and 2022, only 80 units were produced, each custom-configured according to the wishes of the clients. The example offered by Pagani Beverly Hills is among the last units produced and has only covered 420 miles since its initial delivery.

Bodywork of thethe Koenigsegg Regera

The Koenigsegg Regera presented here features a deep red exterior shade, applied on a fully pre-impregnated carbon fiber body with lightweight reinforcements in composite materials.

The model’s fluid lines are enhanced by the integration of active aerodynamic elements, including a retractable rear wing mounted on the top of the tail, capable of deploying automatically depending on speed.

The Regera sits on a carbon monocoque chassis with integrated cells for the fuel tank and battery system. The wheels are Aircore™ Superlight in carbon fiber, center-lock, exclusive to the brand.

Interior of thethe Koenigsegg Regera

The cabin of this Koenigsegg Regera is dressed in red leather in a shade identical to that of the bodywork, creating a striking visual continuity between the exterior and the interior. The stitching adopts a pattern specific to the Regera style.
The seats are carbon sport buckets electrically adjustable in six positions, integrating memory foam to ensure optimal comfort even over long distances. The interior ambiance is customizable thanks to discreet ambient lighting integrated into the door panels and the central console.
The infotainment system is based on a 9-inch central screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and equipped with Wi-Fi access. A set of interior and exterior cameras completes the technological equipment, as does the Autoskin function, allowing remote opening of the doors, hood, and trunk via remote control.

Engine of thethe Koenigsegg Regera

Under its bodywork, the Koenigsegg Regera is equipped with a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in aluminum, designed in-house by Koenigsegg. This combustion engine is combined with three electric motors, all orchestrated by the Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD) technology.

The combustion engine alone develops 1,100 horsepower (820 kW) when running on premium gasoline (91/95 octane), with 1,250 Nm of torque. The electric motors provide an additional power of 700 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, allowing immediate responsiveness thanks to the “torque fill” effect.

The entire system is powered by an 800V 4.5 kWh liquid-cooled battery, which ensures both propulsion functions and optimized energy management.

Performance of this Koenigsegg Regera

The Koenigsegg Regera delivers performance that pushes the limits of what’s possible for a road-legal car. Thanks to the combination of the twin-turbo V8 engine and the three electric motors, the combined power exceeds 1,500 horsepower, allowing blazing acceleration without any jolts due to the absence of a conventional gearbox.
0 to 100 km/h is achieved in under 2.8 seconds, while 0 to 200 km/h is reached in about 6.6 seconds. The 0 to 300 km/h sprint takes only 10.9 seconds, and the announced top speed exceeds 400 km/h (250 mph), although this may vary slightly depending on aerodynamic configuration.

How many KoenigseggKoenigsegg Regera were made?

Only 80 units of the Koenigsegg Regera were produced between 2016 and 2022, all hand-assembled at the Koenigsegg facilities in Sweden.
This limited number, intentionally restricted by the manufacturer, reinforces its position on the market as an exceptional vehicle reserved for a selective and discerning clientele.
