The genesis of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, initially called "Nebula," is the result of a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing. This seven-year project was led by Adrian Newey, the legendary Formula 1 multi-champion designer. This partnership marks a turning point for Aston Martin, departing from traditional GTs to create a true Formula 1 car homologated for the road.

The bodywork of the Aston Martin Valkyrie is entirely made of carbon fiber. Its radical design, dominated by the iconic Aston Martin wing-shaped grille, does away with unsightly aerodynamic appendages. This design generates two tons of downforce, allowing high-speed cornering with lateral acceleration exceeding 3.5 G.

This minimalist, performance-focused configuration creates a driving experience close to that of a Formula 1 car.

Under the hood, the Valkyrie houses a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, developed by Cosworth, directly connected to the carbon monocoque without any dampening. The engine reaches a maximum speed of 11,100 rpm, producing 1,014 horsepower, with a peak torque of 740 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is paired with an electric motor developed in collaboration with Rimac, adding an additional 162 horsepower. The combined output reaches 1,160 horsepower, all sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed sequential transmission by Ricardo.
