Bugatti may have found a solution: send its two exhibition models around the world. One of the Tourbillon models is touring dealerships, and the other is attending Bugatti events. It’s also a way to convince the last hesitant buyers. Today, I won’t be presenting a car for sale, but rather a Tourbillon that is traveling the globe. Admire these beautiful images.

A world tourtour for the Bugatti Tourbillon

The Bugatti Tourbillon has already traveled to several prestigious destinations, including France, Belgium, Qatar, and the United States. This tour is designed to showcase the unique lines of this model while keeping future owners excited. At each stop, a select few privileged individuals are chosen to get up close and personal with this "hyper-art" automobile and to imagine the day they will finally get to drive it. Because yes, the first models won’t roll out of the factory until 2026, and the 250 units are scheduled to be delivered by 2029.

Bugatti Tourbillon replacesreplaces the Chiron

To recap, the Bugatti Tourbillon was unveiled worldwide on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Molsheim-Dorlisheim, Alsace (France). This presentation marked the official launch of Bugatti's new hybrid model, which replaces the Chiron. The Bugatti Tourbillon is Bugatti's first plug-in hybrid hypercar. Only 250 Bugatti Tourbillon units will be produced, compared to 500 for the Chiron.

Bugatti Tourbillon engineengine

The Bugatti Tourbillon features a hybrid powertrain that combines a combustion engine with electric motors. It boasts a newly developed 8.3-liter W16 naturally aspirated engine that delivers 1,000 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Additionally, it has three electric motors: two in the front and one in the rear. The total power output of the electric motors is 800 horsepower. The combination of the combustion engine and the electric motors allows the Bugatti Tourbillon to achieve a total output of 1,800 horsepower!

Bugatti Tourbillon performanceperformance

Despite weighing 1,995 kg, the Bugatti Tourbillon remains at the top of the most high-performing hypercars. It even has the luxury of surpassing its predecessor, the Chiron. It has a top speed of 445 km/h with the special "speed key" inserted, otherwise, it’s limited to 380 km/h. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2 seconds, 5 seconds to reach 200 km/h (1.1 seconds faster than the base Chiron), 9 seconds to reach 300 km/h (12.1 seconds for the base Chiron), and 25 seconds for 0 to 400 km/h.

Bugatti Tourbillon interiorinterior

Arguably the most spectacular part of the Bugatti Tourbillon is the interior. The interior of the Bugatti Tourbillon is heavily inspired by the world of Swiss watchmaking.

The standout feature of the Tourbillon's interior is the instrumentation cluster, composed of three large titanium-ringed round dials. These revolving dials, designed with Swiss horological expertise, contain more than 600 pieces and precious stones, weighing only 680 grams. The central dial displays speed and the tachometer in an analog format, with hands moving like those of a clock. The steering wheel is made of two parts: a fixed hub and a rotating rim, allowing the driver to always see the information displayed.

This analog and mechanical approach aims to create a timeless interior that will remain relevant and functional for decades, unlike digital screens, which may become obsolete.
