Pagani Zonda Arrivederci

Pagani Zonda Arrivederci

Pagani Zonda Arrivederci

Are you lost? Did you, like me, think that the Pagani Zonda was over? That there would be no more additional units beyond the few hundred models produced (around 140)? Not at all. Apparently, a Pagani collector managed to convince Horacio Pagani to produce one final unit: the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci. A unique Zonda entirely made of exposed carbon fiber, complemented by black carbon on the lower parts. This one-of-a-kind piece features blue and red accents tracing its lines and highlighting its two-level rear wing. A Zonda Arrivederci inspired by the Zonda JC. This Zonda is supposed to be the final iteration of the Italian supercar... but I don't believe it, there will likely be a few more editions for the brand's most loyal clients.

We estimate this Pagani Zonda Arrivederci (chassis number 140) to be valued between 9 and 11 million euros. But, the real question is: is this truly the last Zonda? I don’t think so 🙂 See you in a few years for another ‘1 of 1’ edition.

Alright, a brief historical reminder of the Zonda. The Zonda model made its debut in 1999. Several editions of the Zonda were released: the C12 for chassis 001 (only 5 units), Pagani Zonda C12-S 7.0 (15 units), Zonda C12-S 7.3 / S 7.3 Roadster (17 + 12 units), Zonda F / F Roadster (25 + 25), Zonda Cinque / Cinque Roadster (5 + 5), Zonda Tricolore (3 units), and Zonda HP Barchetta (3 units). Pagani also produced unique Zondas, such as the Pagani Zonda Riviera, Unica, Sapphire, 760 LM... all one-off examples for Zonda collectors. In total, this brings us to 140 units. Today, it seems that the story is truly coming to an end with the Arrivederci.

This Zonda, identified by chassis number 140, was acquired last year by American collector Kris Singh (an investment company manager and owner of several Paganis). At the time of acquisition, Kris Singh was discreet and only made the purchase public today.

Pagani Zonda Arrivederci:Arrivederci: design

The most striking feature of the Zonda Arrivederci is its body, entirely dressed in exposed silver carbon fiber. This color creates a contrast with the black carbon used on the lower parts. Specific to the Arrivederci, the blue and red stripes recall the iconic Martini livery. The newly designed rear wing, supported by extended arms, is inspired by the Zonda JC.

1 of 1 Pagani Zonda Arrivederci

Although Pagani has kept the technical specifications of the Zonda Arrivederci a secret, it is highly likely that it is powered by the same naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine found in the final versions of other Zondas, delivering 760 horsepower. Maybe the power has been increased, but overall the performance remains close to the Zonda 7.3: a 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h. Anyway, no one dares to drive over 300 km/h in a Pagani… well, no one except Jeremy Clarkson.

Pagani Zonda Arrivederci price

I know, if you’re here, it’s probably to find out its price, because indeed, it’s not for sale. As is often the case with Pagani, we have no information regarding the price the buyer paid. The exact price is known only to the owner, American collector Kris Singh, and Pagani.
However, what we can do is attempt an estimate of its value. A rather difficult exercise, but let’s give it a try. Firstly, there aren’t many Pagani Zondas available on the second-hand market. They are often sold off-market.
Due to its rarity, we are far from the 495,000 euros of the 2009 Zonda S 7.3. Based on the metrics from our marketplace LuxuryPulse (since its launch, 7 Pagani Zondas have been sold), we can estimate the value of the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci to be between 9 and 11 million euros. A Pagani Zonda Diamante Verde built in 2017 could be worth 10 million euros.

The ultimate tribute to a legend

The Pagani Zonda Arrivederci represents the culmination of over two decades of ‘hyper-art’ expertise from the Italian manufacturer. This ‘final’ Zonda is more than just a car; it’s the cherry on top of the Zonda… well, supposedly.
As it makes its debut at Monterey Car Week, the Arrivederci doesn’t just bid farewell to an era; it leaves an indelible mark for Pagani Zonda enthusiasts like myself.
