Koenigsegg Regera -- Records

In 2019, it shattered the 0-400-0 km/h record in just 31.49 seconds! Driven by Sonny Persson at the Swedish Råda military airfield, the Regera achieved 0 to 400 km/h in 22.87 seconds, and from 400 km/h to a full stop in 8.62 seconds. It broke this record again on June 16, 2023, with a 0 to 400 km/h in 20.68 seconds and 400 to 0 km/h in 8.13 seconds. As you can see, this hypercar is not for just anyone to handle.

Koenigsegg Regera: EngineEngine

The Koenigsegg Regera is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that combines an internal combustion engine and electric motors. It features a powerful 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 1,100 hp at 7,800 rpm. In addition, the Regera has three electric motors: two with 241 hp each, driving the rear wheels, and a third motor with 215 hp, directly linked to the V8's crankshaft. The total combined power of the hybrid system reaches an impressive 1,521 hp at 7,800 rpm.

The interior features a nine-inch vertical screen, 4G connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay. The absence of a gear lever and the replacement of the traditional speedometer with a screen further enhance the modernity. The Regera also set a new world record for the 0-400-0 km/h sprint, completing it in just 31.49 seconds at a military airfield in Sweden. In 2023, Koenigsegg further improved this record, achieving a time of 28.81 seconds for the 0-400-0 km/h. The Regera’s top speed is electronically limited to 410 km/h.
