Pagani Huayra Roadster BC20

Today, I want to introduce you to a hypercar priced at over €5 million... excluding taxes: the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC20. The ultra-exclusive convertible version of the Huayra. Limited to only 40 units, the Roadster BC20 is an evolution of the Huayra BC. It offers the possibility of driving with the wind in your hair while maintaining the performance of the Pagani Huayra BC.

The Pagani Huayra, launched by Pagani in 2011, was followed by a radical version, the BC, in 2016, and then a roadster in 2017. The name BC pays tribute to Benny Caiola, a collector, Pagani's first customer, and a friend and mentor to Horacio Pagani, the founder of the brand.

With 30 kg less than the standard Huayra Roadster and only 32 kg more than the Huayra BC Coupé, the Roadster BC has a curb weight of 1,250 kg. This weight is remarkably low for a convertible supercar. By comparison, the Bugatti Chiron has a curb weight of 1,995 kg, and it's a coupé. Even the Koenigsegg Regera is heavier, with a weight around 1,630 kg.

The Roadster BC is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine from AMG, specially reworked for this version. This engine develops 800 horsepower and produces 1,050 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed sequential gearbox, offering impressive performance, although Pagani has not disclosed specific figures. However, it is clear that this supercar is built for speed!

Although Pagani has not revealed the exact performance of its supercar, one can easily guess that it will live up to its specifications: 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and a top speed well over 350 km/h. If Horacio Pagani has chosen not to communicate on the performance, it’s for a good reason: this Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is primarily aimed at collectors (a nod to BC for Benny Caiola), so its place is in a garage. If you’re looking for pure performance, there’s the Zonda R or the Huayra R (30 units).

To my knowledge, there are currently two Pagani Huayra Roadster BCs available for sale in the world: one is listed on LuxuryPulse and the other is off-market. With only 40 units produced, this model is extremely difficult to acquire, especially since Pagani had already reserved these cars for its best clients.

This version, the only one currently for sale in Europe (as of October 22, 2024), is priced at €5,033,613, or $5,384,204 USD excluding taxes. You can find it on our marketplace.
