G800 and G400 business jets: Gulfstream’s next-generation fleet
On October 4, 2021, in Georgia, Gulfstream presented two new business jets. The Gulfstream G800, which flies farther than any other aircraft produced by the private aircraft manufacturer. And the G400, which combines performance and environmental efficiency to reinvent the large-cabin aircraft class.
Gulfstream expands its family of ultramodern, high-tech aircraft. The longest-haul aircraft in Gulfstream’s history, with the G800. The G800 replaces the current G650ER. The latest addition to Gulfstream’s large-cabin class, the G400.

The introduction of the G800 and G400 marks an important milestone in the company’s investment in the future. The Gulfstream G800 offers you the longest range in the Gulfstream fleet. The G800 has a range of 4,816 kilometers at Mach 0.85 and a top speed of Mach 0.90. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines.

The G800 redefines distance and speed to save you even more time. In addition to its great range and speed, the G800 can accommodate up to 19 passengers and offers up to four living spaces or three living spaces with a crew compartment. The G800 naturally features the signature Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100% fresh air, never recirculated, ultra-quiet noise levels and an industry-leading low cabin altitude.
The cabin is also equipped with 16 oval Gulfstream panoramic windows for abundant natural light and unobstructed views. Relax, prosper and bask aboard the G800.
The Gulfstream G400 offers you an unrivalled large, comfortable cabin and a powerful combination of efficiency, speed and range. The cabin is 1.88 m high, 2.31 m wide and 11.07 m long, excluding baggage.

In addition to enhancing its environmental performance, the G400 has been designed and engineered with the direct input of its customers. The aircraft offers maximum operational flexibility and enhanced cabin comfort.
Three floor plans are available, with options to accommodate up to 9, 11 or 12 passengers. The G400’s cabin features 10 panoramic oval windows and offers the Gulfstream Cabin Experience. Relax, bask and breathe aboard the G400. With a range of 7,778 km at its long-range cruising speed of Mach 0.85, the G400 takes you from Geneva to New York, or from São Paulo to Miami, non-stop.
G800 and G400G400 business jets - Price
Both the G800 and G400 feature the Gulfstream Symmetry cockpit, with electronically linked active side controls – an industry first – and the most extensive use of touchscreen technology with 10 touchscreens.
Among the G800’s competitors, it shares the stage with the Dassault Falcon 10X and the Bombardier Global 7500. The G800 has the smallest cabin, and is about $3 million cheaper than the others. But with its 8,000 nautical miles, the G800 has the longest range, beating the Falcon 10X by 500 miles and the Global 7500 by 300 miles.
Deliveries of the G800 to customers are scheduled to start in 2023, and those of the G400 in 2025. The price of the G800 aircraft is $71.5 million, and that of the G400 starts at $34.5 million.
